Elara floated through the observation lounge after her long shift on the tether lines, the hum of the station keeping her slightly unsteady as usual. As she drifted she reached into her pocket, as always, and pulled out a small piece of Lunar Drift, pressing it gently into the central cradle of the voidhaven existential mana collector, the way she did every cycle.
The shimmering substance settled in with a familiar soft pulse as soft clouds drifted lazily inside the translucent mote. tiny particles of silver light suspended like patient constellations. Upon connection, a gentle wave of calm rippled outward. Her toolbox, left drifting nearby, rotated slowly in place like it was stretching after a nap, tools clinking softly in quiet rhythm.
She yawned softly, watching as the station lights around her warmed to a softer glow. The usual metallic drone of the vents softened once again into something almost melodic. Her shadow retreating, scowling slightly, replaced with the warm vibrancy of the drift. The tension in her shoulders, and the chill in her spine melting away like morning frost under starlight.
Heading back inside, she gave her toolbox an affectionate pat as she pushed off back towards the corridor. The cosmic sails were beginning to drift past the viewports once again, the machine was satiated, power for another day. Just another quiet shift with the Lunar Drift keeping their little corner of the void alive and warm.
Handmade resin 7 dice dnd set with a shiny yellow design and white numbers. Radiant like the dawnfather himself, probably. Bright like sunshine.
The paladin knelt on the frost crusted rooftop as the first pale rays of dawn sliced through the cloudy sky, golden light fracturing them into a thousand perfect shards. In his calloused palms rested a small cluster of the Dawnfather’s light. Crystalline beads of solidified sunlight, each one warm, steady, and glowing with the soft unwavering gold that pushed back the lingering shadows of the night.
The Dawnfather had intentionally crystallized his own radiance during the Long Eclipse, pouring divine will into every ray until it hardened into these flawless vessels of holy order. Shaped by celestial hands to steady mortal hearts and carve structure into a fractured world. The beads hummed with quiet authority, edges sharp as morning truth, promising clarity as reliable as the sun rising in the sky.
He allowed the light to wash over his skin, warm and radiant, granting visions of ordered fields under endless sunrise, as legions marched beneath warm golden skies, as if the light itself had become their banner. He would purify the land by his hand, as that was his oath and bond after all.

Nobody in Fallowend really knows what Echosets are, but most households have at least three of them. You’ll find them on windowsills, kitchen counters, sock drawers, pretty much wherever they feel like showing up.
They're always warm on one side, smell vaguely of old chalk, and turn over on their own if left alone too long. Most people don’t care. You get used to it.
There’s a standing bin for them at the post office, right next to the collection tray for lost gloves and unclaimed keys. Every few weeks, someone from the town council carts them off in a wheelbarrow and dumps them into the ravine. They always come back. Last year someone tried stacking thirty of them in a pyramid to keep them still, but they just reorganized themselves into a straight line by morning, pointing east. Geralt said it was probably a joke so the directions were ignored, but nobody likes Geralt. Seems like a skill issue.
The baker’s Echoset sometimes rolls a five when the scones are going to be dry, which people agree is helpful, but mostly they just try not to trip over them on the stairs.

Zesca is a rare crystallized citrus fruit grown under extreme care, prized not for any grand origin myth but for the sheer extravagance of its cultivation. It’s lemony, sour in a thrilling way, and so finicky to grow that only noble-funded greenhouses even bother. Each fruit takes nearly a year to ripen, requiring tightly controlled alchemy-infused humidity, specialized soil, and protective wrappings to prevent it from vanishing into bitter vapor. The end result is a gemlike fruit with a sharp glassy zest and a tang so refined it makes your molars sing. The flavor alone is worth a poet’s salary, but what truly made it infamous was its side effect: eating Zesca turns your hair golden blond for precisely seven days, like sunlight caught in silk.
In noble circles, Zesca is treated less like food and more like an accessory. It’s typically served at formal occasions in delicate glass bowls, quartered like precious stones, and consumed with small silver picks to avoid fingerprints. Guests are expected to pretend the transformation is incidental, but everyone knows why it’s eaten. The hair change is considered fashionable, especially during galas or public appearances, and the fruit’s limited supply makes it a tasteful way to show off wealth without saying anything directly. It’s not enchanted or cursed—it’s just rare, difficult, and expensive, which makes it perfect. The nobility like their luxuries exactly like that.
